Tuesday Top 5 Books I'm reading

I often find myself reading more than one book at a time.  It is a crazy habit that I don't want to break!  How about you? What are you reading? Do you find yourself reading more than one book at a time?

Here is the TOP 5 that I'm reading right now:

1) I just started Searching for Pemberley by Mary Simonsen.  I am very excited to read this book! It is about a huge fan of Jane Austin's work Pride and Prejudice.  She travels to Europe and finds out that the characters in this book are based on real people!!!
2) Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin. Funny but I am reading this with my high schoolers.  It is one of the few books that I've read more than three times. (well besides the childhood favorites) It is a lot of fun to read this book with teenagers.  I love hearing their perspective on what is going on vs. what I already know.  Some Classics are boring. This one is not. I love the beauty of the language.  We are going to watch one of the movies when we finish the book.  They haven't watch the movie yet.

3) Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
- I am also reading this with my high schoolers. I read this book in high school.  It has been so long that it all seems so new to me. I'm very intrigued by the letters at the beginning of the book.  We are going to watch the movie when we finish this book, too!

4) The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin- I'm blogging about this Happiness Project every Monday. I've finished the book and can't wait to write more about it!

5) Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day by Jeff Hertzberg, MD and Zoe Francois- Not only am I reading this book I am cooking from it! I have made pizza and bread. I will be blogging more about it soon. This bread baking book is extremely easy to use!

  2. The Gretchen Rubin book is so interesting -- I'm doing some research on mothers and happiness for my own book, Good Enough is the New Perfect. Most of my reading has been work/life balance heavy lately, but I guess that's normal with a book deadline in June! I also have spent a lot of time with my hubby's new book, The Last Lawyer: The Fight to Save Death Row Inmates, which recently received a starred review in Publishers Weekly. I love when both of my kids say that their parents are authors, but I have to get busy and finish this book! -H
