Coffee Month- Wake Up and Smell the Coffee Soap Giveaway

I'm loving coffee month!  I hope you are enjoying it, too!  I had a lot of fun searching ETSY stores for fun, unique products related to coffee.  I spent hours clicking stores, looking at products and sending off messages.  One of the product at Abela Bodycare caught my attention right away.  The product was the "Wake Up and Smell the Coffee" soap gift set.  This very clever set of soap is sold together... one is WAKE UP and the other SMELL THE COFFEE.   I was thrilled to get the chance to review the soaps.
Here is the store description of the set: This set includes one Wake-Up Bar, and another bar of Kitchen Thyme, which has organic coffee incorporated into it. Each bar is a generous 6 oz, and the set is wrapped with burlap from locally roasted coffee, gorgeous paper, and varying ribbons. With the Kitchen Thyme bar, I've noticed at first, the essential oils are what you smell. After a few months, the essential oils lighten up a bit and it then has a noticeable coffee scent.
Wake Up has the invigorating scents of peppermint, rosemary & eucalyptus essential oils. It’s great for morning showers, & has the added benefit of clearing sinuses. I incorporate bits of peppermint & rosemary leaf that I grow organically.
Kitchen Thyme uses refreshing thyme essential oil, and basil oil, both of which have antibacterial action. I incorporate organic coffee & grounds to eliminate unwanted smells from hands, such as onions, garlic, bleach. The perfect bar to use in the kitchen or laundry. A friend with rosacea swears it's the best facial bar she's found.

About the store owner, Laurie: I have been a soapmaker for 12 years and take pleasure in growing the herbs & flowers that I use in my creations. I collect rainwater, and filter it for use in all of my soaps. This creates a soap that is exceptionally gentle on skin. Scent is a powerful medium & I enjoy creating new combinations. All of my products are made with vegetable oils & are vegan friendly. All plants are grown organically and only pure essential oils are used for scent. Abela Soaps are only colored with natural botanicals and essential oils. No manmade (fragrance) oils or colorants are used. The soap contains lye, a key ingredient in every bar soap. This is not, however, the harsh soap of our ancestors. Once the chemical reaction completes during the curing process, the lye is used up, and you are left with a very gentle bar of soap. Expect slight variations in shape & size. Each bar weighs approximately 6 ounces. Keep your soap out of standing water to prolong your enjoyment. For additional quantities, please convo me. My Take on the product:  I was thrilled to get this set in the mail.  My enjoyment of the set was even greater when it arrived. The wrapping around the soap was beautiful! Before opening it, I knew that it was made with care and love by the way it was packaged.   I love all natural soaps.  Rainwater is used in the making of the soaps. I had never heard of this before.  The soap leaves you feeling clean and healthy.  There is not any lingering coffee smell, in case you were wondering.  This is the type of soap you would expect to be sold in gift shops and at a Spa. 

Wake Up soap took me away from my every day stress and gave me a few minutes of needed peace and relaxation while in the shower.  It has "invigorating scents of peppermint, rosemary and eucalyptus."  I love the combination of these essential oils.  

Smell the Coffee-Kitchen Thyme soap is made with thyme and basil essential oils.  It smells soooo good! Coffee and coffee grounds are used to help eliminate unwanted smells.  I'm always amazed at how well this works to get rid of and onion and meat odors.  I have not used this on my face but it is gently enough to do just that.
