Every day water with Whirlpool Water Filter

How do you take your water? Cold, hot, bottled, faucet, filtered or none at all? What is in your water? Lead, mercury, chloride? Hmmmmm??

I grew up with well water. Back then, I'm sure we didn't use water filters. Bottled water was unheard of unless you count jugs of distilled water. The well water was rough on my teeth and I believe that was from the lack of fluoride in that type of water. I never wanted my girls to go through that and so far we have been blessed with good running water. Even so, there are dangers in just drinking for the tap. Our water lines break and we are on boiled water orders several times a year.

I'm always relieved to find out that our drinking water meets the legal limits of contaminates. They do filter the water and it does contain fluoride. It is scary to think that the water does have contaminates so I use water filters to help cut out any extra mercury, lead, asbestos, chlorine etc which are comment contaminates in our small town.

Do you filter your water? One filter that is handy to have is an affresh & Whirlpool Refrigerator Water Filter. This is good for the drinking water and, of course, the ice. I like to use the filter water for my coffee makers, cooking and even baking. How about you? Do you use these fridge filters?

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Whirlpool and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate
