THQ uDraw Your City Contest

Have you heard about the THQ uDraw Your City Contest that is running now through October 31st 2011? It is a really cool nationwide art contest/competition for young artist ages 6-17.

My daughter, N, is going to draw her favorite city, St. Louis, Missouri which will focus on the St. Louis Arch. Whenever people think of St. Louis, they think of the arch. She is also going to include the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Team since they are headed to the World Series! We are so excited for this and can't wait for the Series to begin! Some how she will include a squirrel. If you aren't sure what that has to do with St. Louis Cardinals then you'll need to GOOGLE it!

N loves painting with acrylic paint on canvas. She is a very serious artist and paints whenever she has money to buy canvas and paint. She is now 17 and has been painting all her life. Below is a picture of her when she was 2 years old. She hopes to take art classes in the future on a college level.
