#DawnPowerClean 5-Minute Soak Challenge #ad

Have you heard about the new DAWN Power Clean Dishwashing liquid? I was given the task to take the 5-minute dirty, grimy, greasy, stuck-on and sticky pan cleaning challenge. The new DAWN claims- on the bottle- that in 5 minutes it can power clean your pan equal to an overnight soak. Sounds too good to be true?

Yes, it does sound too good to be true but it isn't! I took the challenge to my 17 inch Paella Pan. It is very tricky to clean because it has tiny raised bumps all over the bottom of the pan. We have to let this pan soak for hours before we can clean it to prevent rubbing off the finish of the pan. When my teen is on dish duty the night I use that pan, I tell her that I will clean it for her. She is always grateful because it has special issues and it is extremely large.

Step one: I added water and DAWN Power Clean to pan and set the timer for 5 minutes.  While waiting for 5 minutes I knew that I could cleaned the stove top and wipe down all the counters.

Step Two: I looked at the pan after it had soaked for 3 minutes to find the food pulling up off the bottom and sides! The water hand turned pink. That never happens after 3 minutes with other dishwashing liquid. I still had two minutes left so I swept the floor, added fresh food and water to the kitty bowls and went to the bathroom.

Step Three: When the 5 minute timer when off, I rinsed the soap and grime out of the pan. The food pulled off in layers! Very cool.

Step Four: Final rinse and inspected my pan. EVERYTHING but one spot came off this pan without a sponge touching it. The dishwashing liquid removed all the grime in 5 minutes as stated on the bottle! I love it when a product performs as stated on the package.

I took the 5-minute soak challenge and DAWN Power Clean did a massive clean job on my pan. This is the most dreaded pan to clean but DAWN made it manageable. We had the same experience with other pans and dishes the past few weeks. The Power Clean took on my crock pot several times and gave equal results. Some products actually do as they say on the package! I feel like a like DAWN Power Clean is my new kitchen super hero! I wonder if I can get it to clean the floors and stove in the same clean and snappy way?
