Here is a recipe for the easiest peanut butter cookie, ever. I usually get about 24 cookies out of a batch.
Peanut Butter Cookies
1 egg
1 cup plus 2-3 Tbsp sugar
1 cup of peanut butter, creamy or chunky
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix ingredients. Spoon out onto cookie sheet. Lightly smash down the cookies with fork tines, rotate fork 180 degrees and do it again. Sprinkle lightly with sugar. Bake 7-10 minutes (until they are not shiny) Let cool for 1 minute and then put on cooling rack.
*Some times I'll toss in chocolate chips or nuts to my cookies. How about you?
wow! looks super easy!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am tempted to make some myself...do these actually have a cookie texture? I know they don't normally call for flour, but this seems too simple ;-)

ReplyDeleteI have a favorite recipe, it is THEE BEST recipe ever.
Here it is:

3/4 C. Butter
3/4 C. Shortening
3 3/4 C. Brown Sugar
3 Eggs
3 t. Vanilla
3 C. Whole Wheat Flour (I use white bleached, but this is what the recipe says)
