I love a good bake sale! How about you? What are some of your favorite desserts you look forward to purchasing at bake sales? Have you ever hosted a bake sale to raise money?
When I go to a bake sale, I always look for the brownies. I know that seems crazy since I'm known for making delish brownies but it is rare that I have found a brownie that I didn't like. How about you? What is your bake sale guilty pleasure?
Besides picking up goodies at a bake sale, I love contributing to bakes sales and putting on bake sales. When I'm baking for a bake sale, I always ask my girls what they want and that is what I make. Some of my favorite goodies to make for bake sales are buckeye brownies, amish friendship bread and amish friendship bread starter, cookies and the not so typical honey beer bread. I've also had request for cake balls, cake pops and cupcakes! Click on any of those links to get some of my favorites! What do you like to make for bake sales?
I picked this recipe from the “Virtual Bake Sale” on the Fleischmann’s Yeast and Karo Facebook pages. Did you know that these two trusted products have helped people create beautiful homemade bread and delicious desserts for more that 100 years? Speaking of bake sales, have you ever heard of the Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry Campaign?
