Amish Friendship Bread Chocolate Caramel Brownies
Ingredients
1 cup Amish Friendship Bread Starter3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 small box Jell-O instant chocolate pudding- dry mix
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips (we use a variety or whatever we have on hand)
1 cup caramel bits or Rolos
1/2 cup caramel bits to sprinkle on top or Rolos
2-Grease and flour 9″ x 13″ pan.
3-Combine starter, eggs, oil, milk, vanilla extract, and sugars in a medium bowl.

1 cup caramel bits or Rolos
1/2 cup caramel bits to sprinkle on top or Rolos
Directions
1-Preheat oven to 325° F (165° C). 2-Grease and flour 9″ x 13″ pan.
3-Combine starter, eggs, oil, milk, vanilla extract, and sugars in a medium bowl.
4-In another medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pudding mix, chocolate chips, and 1 cup caramel bits.
5- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and fold in the wet ingredient until fully mixed.
6-Pour into greased pan and sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of caramel bits (Rolos) on top.

7-Bake for 45 minutes to one hour, checking for doneness with a toothpick. When toothpick is clear of the dough, they are done. With all the added chocolate chips you will get chocolate on the toothpick.
8-Cook & eat.
9-Serves 16
