Mom Gets Back To School Shoes #sponsored #ReebokMom

We have three teens who are always in need of something, especially at back to school time. Never ending books, pencils, computers, shoes, clothes, food, personal care products and more are always being purchased. Sometimes mom doesn't get until all the teen have been taken care of. Sound familiar? Do you put anything in the cart for you when doing back to school shopping?

This year mom got a new pair of running shoes while out and about shopping with the teens. I've been building up my walking/running time to where I pretty much just run now. I love watching people run and have always wanted to be a runner. My past 5K's were all walking 5K's so I'm looking forward to my Fall events where I only run them. I'm really excited about this and thrilled to get a new pair of Reeboks to help me along the way. I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Reebok. I received a Famous Footwear gift card to purchase a pair of Reebok shoes to facilitate my review and to thank me for participating.

I've shopped at Famous Footwear many times over the years and always enjoy their selection of shoes. I tried on several shoes but ended up ordering my shoes online. The neat thing about this is that before I even went shopping in the store, I shopped their online site and picked out which shoes I wanted to try on at the store specifically for running. The two stores that I went to didn't have my size. At the 2nd store, the clerk asked me if I wanted to pick them up at another store or order them online. I told him that I already had a pair in my shopping cart and would order them once I got home. He asked for my account number and told me if I order them through the store for home delivery that I would save the shipping cost! Score! So I ordered my shoes and within the week I had my new shoes delivered. 

This is my first pair of Reeboks in at least 10 years. Over the past 16 months I have lost 75 pounds through exercise. I will have to say that none of this would have been possible without good exercise shoes. Every 3 months I have been getting new shoes because my feet have also lost weight and I do wear them out! I get nervous ordering online because I like to try the shoe for fit in the store. The Reeboks came true to size and fit me great! There were several styles to choose from but I narrowed it down to function of the shoe for running. 

I've been wearing my new Reeboks - Women's Zig Kicks for a week and they are great. I was a tad nervous about my first few runs because I didn't want to get blisters. Well guess what? I didn't! I would like to say that I have been only wearing Reeboks up to this point but I haven't. I have been purchasing shoes based on recommendations from other runners at my gym and having the ability to try them on before buying. I can't wait to see how these hold up and if they do, I will order them again online from Famous Footwear. I will also consider other styles of Reeboks and especially something from their beautiful Crossfit line. I have been doing Crossfit for over a month now, too. I already have a pair in my wishlist to purchase next time! This momma is so excited to have a new pair of shoes just in time for back to school!
