What are some of the symptoms seen with people who can't tolerate gluten? They include abdominal pain, gas, constipation, bloating, diarrhea, nausea, weight loss, fatigue and depression. Those symptom fit a lot of other diseases and intolerances so do make sure you get tested to see if you need to go gluten free.
I do have to say that no one in my family has been diagnosed. I do cook gluten free recipes when I see one that I want to try and have several gluten free recipes here on my blog. Why? Why not! I love trying new recipes and sharing them here on my blog. If you have one to share, let me know!
This brings me to a free kindle book that is going on right now from a sweet blogging friend, Tiffany Hinton over at Gluten Free Mom Certified (also the name of her cookbook). She is celebrating her birthday and wanted to offer her tasty cookbook for FREE! This cookbook normally sells for $27.00. Pop over and check out her cookbook and get it on Kindle. If you do not have a Kindle, you can still download it on your computer or phone.
I have yet to go through the cookbook but when I do, I will post a lengthier review and share a recipe. Here is the book description from Amazon:

ReplyDeleteWhen our children have a sensitivity to something it also causes their eczema to flare. We've done reduced gluten and completely eliminated gluten over the years, but I have still been unable to pinpoint exactly what is causing their issues. I love a good gluten free cookbook! I'll look for this one at our library.
ReplyDeleteWe are just getting more and more into gluten free. I am trying to cut it out as I can. I am hoping that it will help my daughter. Thanks for the info!
