Our cats love Nutrish by Rachael Ray #Sponsored #NutrishforCats #MC

We have 3 cats in our home. They are very much part of our family. Our cats are Aslan,Truffles, and Baby Popcorn. All three are indoor cats which I have read need special indoor food to give them all the nutrients they can't get outside by catching real food. I've tried several varieties of cat food and always searching for the best healthy cat food which has the least amount of artificial colors, flavors and additives. I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Nutrish for Cats. I received a sample of Nutrish for Cats to facilitate this review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

I think that I have finally found the perfect food for our sweet fur balls. Watch the below video and you will see our cats going to town on the Real Salmon & Brown Rice Nutrish for Cats food in their dish. I have NEVER seen them eat food so quickly. I was freaking out when they were doing this and had my daughter come watch. As a mom to these 3 cats I can finally say that I feel as though I'm feeding them the best possible food.

Do you spoil your cats by giving them the best food and treats? Our cats get their daily food and a few special treats in the morning and at bed time. Every few days they get wet food which Nutrish for Cats has several they have tried. They all loved the Ocean Fish-a-licious, Lip Smackin' Sardine & Mackerel and Paw Lickin' Chicken & Liver Recipes which are natural food for cats.

Our cats are all playful in their own special way. When we got the box of Nutrish for Cats in the mail all 3 went crazy over the package. They played with the bag, jumped in and out of the box, batted around the green confetti and tried digging into the dry food bag. They played great together and got rewarded with some catnip.

The good news is that the Nutrish for Cats food can be found at your local grocery store as well as Walmart and Target. You can go, HERE, to find the nearest location. Before you head out to the store, please stop over and check out the available coupons to save your family some money.

It doesn't surprise me that Rachael Ray worked with pet nutrition experts to create the best cat food possible. I have been a fan of hers since the beginning of time. To this day I still love making 30 minute meals and probably over use the term "delish" when describing anything that taste and looks great! I love cooking healthy meals for my human family as well! I'm thrilled to share with you a quick from the kitchen of Rachael Ray recipe, Teriyaki Chicken with Brown Whole Grain Rice. It was a huge hit and the only problem is that I didn't make enough.

Teriyaki Chicken with Brown Whole Grain Rice

Serves 4

For the rice:

  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup brown whole grain rice
For the teriyaki sauce:
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1/3 cup Tamari or soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Mirin (rice wine)
  • 3 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 thin slices fresh ginger root
  • 1 large clove garlic, crushed
For the Chicken:
  • 2 tablespoons high temperature cooking oil, such as peanut or canola
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • Sea salt and coarse black pepper
  • 2 mild frying peppers, such as cubanelle or Anaheim, seeded and cut into thin strips
  • 1 bunch scallions, cut into 2 inch pieces
Directions

In a small pot, bring the stock and butter to low boil. Stir in the rice and cover; reduce the heat to a low simmer and cook for 2 minutes. Turn off the heat; do not remove the lid and let stand for 10 minutes.

Place th sauce ingredients in another small pot and bring to a boil. Let reduce by about half, 15 minutes at medium heat, at a low boil.

Add about 2 tablespoons cooking foil to a skillet and heat over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with a light salt and more aggressively with pepper. Cook for 8-9 minutes, turning occasionally; remove. Add the peppers and stir for 2-3 minutes, but let them remain tender-crisp. Add the scallions an dross for 1 minute more; remove from the heat.

Slice the chicken across the breast into 1/2 inch thick pieces.

Arrange the rice on plates or in shallow bowls and top with the peppers, scallions and chicken. Drizzle the sauce evenly over the chicken and rice, then serve.

This healthy chicken and brown whole grain rice recipe will not be a regular on our menu plan. Give it a try!

  10. Over the last few years, discoveries in feline nutrition have shown us that the Best Wet Cat Food is simply the best food for your cat, but a question arises between raw and canned cat food.
